The reliable and safe illumination of rooms, workplaces and escape routes in case of a failure of the general power supply is ensured by an emergency lighting system.
The VDE regulations as well as the special authority regulations (work place regulations, TÜV and fire regulations) require an emergency lighting system to be installed in rooms where personal and economic damage may arise through the failure of the general lighting system. Constant monitoring of the operational readiness is being provided by the built-in test equipment.
